  • ATTESTATION OF A COMMERCIAL DOCUMENT (Revised fees as of 1st September 2017)

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

  1. Application form of miscellaneous services dully filled up, signed and pasted with a photo
  2. Copy of INE of the person who applies for the service
  3. Copy of the registration of the company at Ministry of Finance (Alta ante el SAT)
  4. Document is to be presented in both languages in duplicate duly notarized by a notary public in Mexico and signed by SRE Delegate appointed to sign consular documents. (Original & copy)

  1. POWER OF ATTORNEY (to execute loan documents or to create equitable mortgage, etc.) in India, to be prepared by applicant. Half of last page of POA is requested in blank for stamping embassy´s seals).(Revised fees as of 1st September 2017)

 

NOTE: Embassy does not prescribe any specific format/type of paper for Power of Attorney document.  The same should be as per your requirements, whether plain paper or Indian Stamp Paper. The person (s) signing the Power of Attorney must present himself/herself at the Counter.

b) Power of Attorney in duplicate pasted with an applicant´s photo in the last page of the document. POA is to be signed by the applicant before the Consular Officer

c) Valid passport in original &self attested copies of first two & last two pages of the passport & the page(s) containing passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

d) Copy of proof of residence in Mexico in name of applicant self attested as a true copy, i.e. electricity, water, telephone bill. If not, copy of a leese deed (rent agreement) in name of applicant.

e) Original & copy of legal residence in Mexico (FM card) self attested as a true copy.

f) Original letter of the employer, signed by the authorized signing authority of the company, addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City, stating position & seniority information

g) Annexure E filled up in advance & signed before Consular Officer.

  1. ATTESTATION OF CIVIL DOCUMENTS

 

Civil documents, for example copy of Indian Passport (not visa pages), copy of Pan Card, certificates of studies in India, copy of Mexican visa stamped in Indian passport, etc.,

NOTE: The Embassy of India will not attest copies of civil documents issued in Mexico like electricity, water bills, bank statements.  These can be attested only if applicants get the documents duly notarized and signed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE).

  2. Original © of Indian passport and copy of foreign passport, if applicable, self attested as a true copy.
  3. If applicant holds a foreign nationality, copy of renunciation letter of Indian passport.
  4. Original & Copy of legal residence in Mexico (inmigrado card) self attested as a true copy
  5. Copy of proof of residence in Mexico self attested as a true copy, i.e. electricity, water, telephone bill in the name of applicant or son, daughter or husband
  6. Document proof of family link of the person in whose name the proof of residence is issued
  7. Letter of employer of the son or daughter, addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City, stating position and seniority.

NOTE: The applicant requesting the Life Certificate must present himself/herself at the Counter and sign in front of the Consular Officer. 8.POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE (PCC)     (Revised fees as of 1st September 2017)-

 

The Embassy issues a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) to the resident Indians in Mexico and Belize for use in obtaining resident permits from the host governments/issuance of visa by Embassies of other countries etc. The PCC is issued based on the information/records available on the applicant in the online passport system and takes 2-3 working days. In cases where such records are not available, a clearance is required from authorities in India by making reference to the place of permanent residence of the applicant and such verification may take up to 4-8 weeks.

 

Applicants are required to submit their applications in Person. There is no need to take an appointment. Applicants could visit the Embassy on any working day between 9:30 am and 12:00 pm with the applications properly filled out in advance.  The service will be on first come first serve basis.  Payment is to be done in cash.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

 

  1. Application form duly completed, signed and pasted with a recent, color, passport size photograph.
  2. Current passport in original and photocopy of the first five pages and last two pages of the current passport.
  3. Proof of your Mexico/Belize Visa Status: Photocopies of the passport page containing visa and FM2/FM3
  4. Proof of current Mexico/Belize residence address (copy of one of the following): Gas, Electricity, Water or landline telephone bill in applicant’s name or House Lease Agreement or Bank/credit card/mobile phone statement in applicants own name.
  5. Original Letter of the employer stating position & seniority signed by an authorised signing authority of the company & addressed to the Consular Officer of the Embassy of India in Mexico
  6. Two photographs passport size, in color, white background, 80% face.
  7. Annexure E to be filled up in advance. Signature to be done before Consular Office.

 

Please carry originals of all the supporting documents which you have enclosed with the application. The originals have to be shown to the consular officer.

Fees: 

 

A non-refundable fee of MX$ 550 if the current Indian passport is issued by Embassy of India, Mexico City or MX$ 880 if the current Indian passport has been issued outside Mexico City. In addition, a fee of MX$ 35 only has to be paid towards the Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF). FEES SHOULD BE PAID IN CASH.

  1. REGISTRATION OF BIRTH OF A CHILD BORN IN MEXICO FROM INDIAN PARENTS

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

 

  1. Miscellaneous Application form duly filled up and signed by both parents pasted with a photo
  2. Original Certificate of Birth of son / daughter with its English translation
  3. Original and copy of passport of both parents, self attested as a true copy
  4. Original and copy of Valid Mexican Migratory forms, i.e. FM3 of both parents self attested as a true copy
  5. Copy of proof of residence, i.e. water, electricity, telephone bill in the name of any of the parents self attested as a true copy, or copy of rent agreement.
  6. Letter of employer of any of the parents stating position and seniority addressed to the Consular Officer signed by an authorized signing authority
  7. Affidavit/ Undertaking / Solemn Declaration executed by both parents before Consular Officer of the Embassy of India
  8. Original marriage certificate duly apostilled by MEA, India & copy of it
  9. Annexure E filled up with father´s particulars and signed by the father.

10.ATTESTATION OF A CERTIFICATE OF DEATH

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

 

  1. Original Indian passport, which is to be cancelled and returned to the person in charge of repatriation of human remains.
  2. Original certificate of death
  3. Autopsy Report
  4. Form of Details in respect of Death

 

Service Fee:  Gratis

 

 

ATTESTATION OF AN ORIGINAL  MEDICAL DEGREE /TRANSCRIPT OF STUDIES

 

  1. Application form duly filled up and signed, pasted with a passport size photo of applicant.
  2. Copy of the first 2 and last 2 pages of the passport
  3. Deposit of US$15.00 dollars for each service at Embassy´s account number 0199300451 at HSBC bank in the name of Embajada de la República de la India, address: Musset No. 325, Col. Polanco, México, D.F. 11550.(Swift Code: BIMEMXMM) plus 35 Mexican pesos for each document for ICWF fund.
  4. Remittance advice (proof of payment) in original along with medical degree/transcript of studies in original and copy of it to be attested.
  5. Prepaid courier slip (airway bill) from Mexico to India.

 

NOTE:  Please make sure that the payment of US$15 + MX$35is to be deposited in Embassy´s account out of taxes/commissions to be deducted by bank in India and by bank in Mexico. 

The bank in Mexico is charging  approximately US$20 for its commission.

 

  1. REGISTRATION OF A MARRIAGE AT THE EMBASSY( Solemnized as per Mexican Law)-

 

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

  1. Miscellaneous application form filled up, pasted with a photograph and signed.
  2. Original passports and copies of both passports.
  3. Original declarations by bride and bridegroom in duplicate.
  4. Original and copy of immigration card of the Indian national.
  5. Original letter of employer stating position & seniority of the Indian national addressed to the
  6. Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City and signed by an authorised signing authority.
  7. photographs of each one, passport size, in color with white background
  8. Sworn affidavit of both stating being unmarried before the celebration of this marriage, and stating that both have no living spouse.
  9. Original marriage certificate in English and Spanish duly apostilled by Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) & copy of it.
  10. Annexure E to be filled up and signed before consular officer by the Indian national.
