Fresh passport to a New Born Baby (Born to Indian Parents in Mexico & Belize only).

Documents Required
1. Online filled in application form (http://passport.gov.in/nri/), duly filled and signed wherever applicable. Applicants are advised to go through the guidelines/instructions before filling the online application form.
2. Photocopies of passport of parents first, second and last page of passport & the page(s) containing passport officer´s observation (s) if any. Copies of passport of both parents.
3. Original Letter of employer in English, signed by the authorized signing authority of the company addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City, stating date of appointment and position in the Company. In case of private business, copy of Company’s registration with SAT. (In case of minor – letter from employer of mother or father).
4. Original & copy of proof of legal residence in Mexico for both parents and the applicant i.e. FM3(Resident Permanent)/FM2 (Resident Temporary).
5. Copy of proof of residential address in Mexico i.e. electricity, water, telephone bill in the name of applicant, or copy of a lease deed /rent agreement in name of applicant or any family member with a copy of landlord’s Mexican ID.
6. Copy of Birth certificate issued by the Embassy of India, Mexico City. (refer under Miscellaneous Consular Services for Registration of Birth).
7. Annexure D to be filled by both parents.
8. Annexure E to be filled by Father/Mother.
9. PP form – Personal Particular of the child to be completely filled by the parents.
10. Two recent photographs with white back ground.
Change of particulars from the current passport (refer below for details) Supporting document to be produced in original and copy to be attached with the application.
1. Applicants are required to come in person to the Embassy from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM from Mondays to Fridays, with the applications properly filled out in advance. 
2. Applicant is required to fill remaining part of the application by blue/black pen after printing the application form. Signature/Thumb impression of the applicant should be strictly within the box provided in the application form.
3. Photographs- Two colour photographs of size 2 inch X 2 inch with white background, one pasted on the application form and other to be attached with the application.
4. All copies submitted should be attested as :   TRUE COPY signed by the applicant with date.
5. In the signature column of the application child's thumb impression should is required. Left Hand Thumb Impression in case of Male Child and Right Hand Thumb Impression in case of Female Child.
Fee and Mode of payment
Payment in cash is to be paid in the Consular section of the Embassy.

Delivery options and Timing
From the Embassy Gate: 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM (please bring receipt)
By Courier : Attach pre-paid Courier receipt alongwith the application.

CHANGE OF PARTICULARS IN THE CURRENT PASSPORT
A. Change in surname after Marriage/divorce/remarriage and
Insertion/Deletion of Spouse Name in your new passport.
  • Copy of Apostiled Marriage Certificate/ Divorce Certificate (issued by Indian Authorities)
  • Copy of Apostiled Marriage Certificate/Divorce Certificate (issued by Mexican Authorities) duly attested by the Embassy (for details refer Embassy website under Miscellaneous Services under Attestation of Civil Documents).
B. Split of Given Name or Name Order Change.
  • Self declaration by the applicant stating the changes.
C. Addition or Deletion of Surname.
  • Gazette Notification of the concerned State Government (to which the applicant belongs)
  • Copy any public document issued in favour of the applicant with the changed name.
  • Original Newspaper page publication.
